Come join us at Feathers to celebrate and start the new year with some fun and dancing. "if you have any musical instruments like, guiros, campananas, bongos, claves, congas, etc.. bring them to the party, so you can jam .. Se Formo La Rumba - The Party is going get live!"Whether you are a beginner salsa dancer or an advanced experience dancer, it's all about having a good time and dancing the night away. you'll be dancing to 90% Salsa/Mambo, 10% mix of Cha-cha, Merengue and Bachata. Let's Dance, Let's Celebrate the new year, "Let's have some fun ". When: Saturday January 3rd Time:9:00pm to 10:00pm Cha-cha workshop Beginners and Intermediate levels 10:00pm till .. "New Years Salsa Dance Social Party .. time to dance and have a good time" Admission: $10 BYOB-You are welcome to bring your own drinks!, event though Feathers do have refreshment and water for sale but did I mention that you will need the cooler!!! Please remember to bring your coolers fill them with ice, drinks, gather your salsa friends and bring them with you to dance the night away and have some fun at the Latin Dance Social & Cha-cha Workshop at Feather Dance Studio. PERFORMING THIS SATURDAY IS SALSA HEAT SEMI-PRO TEAM from Orlano & TITO AND TAMARA from Puerto Rico (One of the hottest couple in the Salsa World). This is our first party of the year 2009, so we are going to make big. Como celebrate with us, meet new friends, and enjoy the best salsa by Mr. Dj Joey G. Saturday January 10th, 2009 Cover Charge only $12.00/person Club Tropical 211 SE 1st Ave Hallandale Beach Blvd "Que Viva La Salsa" Tito & Tamara, have participated in various television commercials, dance videos and movies such as, "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights", Yellow, El Cantante: Hector Lavoe y American Gangster, as dancers. Also they own and operated Rhythms Dance Studio, with Danny Lugo coreographer. Today, Tito is not only a Salsa Dancer, he also is the Director of the San Juan City Salsa Dance Program and has made the coreographic works for several artists such as: Víctor Manuelle, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Michael Stuart, El Gran Combo, Richie Rey y Bobby Cruz, Domingo Quiñones, Ismael Miranda, Elvis Crespo, Cheo Feliciano, Modesto Cepeda, Andy Montañez y Tego Calderón. He was also the coreographer for the "Bomba" and "Cha-Cha-Cha" routine in Ricky Martin's appearance in Miss Universe 2001 and the Celia Cruz "Azúcar" Special in Miami in 2003. In addition as a jazz dancer he has performed with Melina León, Yaire, Elvis Crespo, Olga Tañón and others. They will be available for private lessons and they are going to be offering a cha-cha and salsa workshop on sunday from January 11th, 2009 from 2:00-4:00p.m. For more info please call (305)220-1505
